These products extend specific block paving ranges to step edges whilst maintaining the modularity. They are also occasionally used as an alternative to pool coping, where a more Roman-looking edge is required. Matching CurvaStep modules may be used to accommodate corners.

BlokStep names work as follows:

• The first part (e.g. Richtersveld, Zandveld) denotes the surface texture.
• The letter behind the name (e.g. A, B, C) denotes a specific modular set.
• The number (e.g. 50) denotes the thickness of the modules. This is useful, because it tells you that you can't combine a Richtersveld Blokstep A 50 with Richtersveld SlateBlok 75 — you would have to use it with Richtersveld SlateBlok 50.
