| I sent an e-mail to CNdV Africa requesting permission to use one of their CAD drawings of the proposed paving layout at Le Verger on our Web site. Landscape architect Tanya de Villiers responded by sending me two even-better concept drawings, emphasising in bold red underlined letters that I might use them only if I sent her some photos of Fairtrees!
That same morning I had interviewed Kobus Coetzee of West Coast Civils in connection with a different project, and he too had turned the conversation to Fairtrees.
And so, ladies and gentlemen, by the popular demand of all the building industry professionals in the Western Cape (OK, maybe not all, but definitely a few important ones), and better late than never, we hereby finally present the photos of the paving job which everyone is so proud of.
Sorry, no houses there yet — the pics were taken just after the roses were planted. The sand hadn't even been swept away yet.

Fairtrees is a Plan Trust development (the same guys who are developing Lake Michelle). Pavatile's durable V&A Double Cobbles from the ClassiCobble 75 range were used along with other specialised modules, such as the channel-forming Transition Cobble Edge.
